The NY Yankees wanted to create special commemorative bottles to celebrate Derek Jeter’s accomplishments at Yankee Stadium. They chose 150 magnum-sized (1.5L) bottles with a special logo and Jeter’s etched signature. The iconic Yankee frieze was also added to the front of the bottle as an extra touch. The etched bottle because a sudden curiosity with “Wine Spectator” weighing in with an article about Jeter’s bottle.
